Pushpay Churches Rally to Assist With Hurricane Florence Relief
In the early morning of Friday, September 14th, Hurricane Florence made landfall in North Carolina and has proven to be one of the nation’s most catastrophic natural disasters to date. Even two weeks after the storm, rivers continue to rise and emergency evacuation procedures are underway for many North Carolina residents. Travel still remains treacherous in the southeastern area of the state, and 44 lives in North and South Carolina and Virginia were lost during the storm.
During a community’s most painful times, churches have an incredible opportunity to display the Gospel through exceptional love and generosity. And for North Carolina, love and generosity are desperately needed.
Thankfully, local churches have been especially active in the wake of the storm, organizing as many resources as they can to assist with relief efforts. Pushpay is proud to partner with local churches to help them raise funds faster, so they can more quickly help those in need.
