Sales Tax

We realize nobody likes paying taxes. It has an impact on your organization and potentially your ability to fuel your mission. A recent Supreme Court decision (South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc.) is changing the way we invoice certain customers. Effective April 1, 2019, we will start collecting sales tax from some customers and passing the tax back to their state government. Pushpay informed customers in affected states (below) via email in February 2019.

Currently, Pushpay collects sales tax in the following states:

State

Sales Tax

Alabama

Arizona

Hawaii

Iowa

North Dakota

South Carolina

This list specifies states in which Pushpay is currently collecting sales tax. Pushpay may add additional states from time to time. If your state is omitted from this list, it does not necessarily mean that you are exempt from paying sales taxes in your state. It is your obligation to assess sales tax liability in your state and pay all applicable sales taxes.
