Ministry is about knowing people by name. You share in their joys and struggles as you faithfully live out your calling to ministry.

As you’d probably guess, I strongly believe that technology can help you fulfill the calling to lead your flock. But I sometimes hear from pastors and church leaders that tech feels like it’s getting in the way. If that’s the case, we at Pushpay aren’t doing our job.

Our heart is for helping you meet your community where they’re at. But we also strive to meet you, church leaders, where you’re at. And that’s what we’re recommitting to.

For those we serve

We’ve paid attention to every renewal conversation, every support call, and every piece of feedback you’ve shared. What we’re hearing is, some of our most powerful features are harder to use than they should be.

Obviously that’s not great to hear, especially because I believe we’re on the cusp of a Church revival. All the data and trends we’re seeing signal that people are engaging with ministry at higher and higher rates. We all—churches and tech providers both—must be ready to meet this moment.

That’s why Pushpay’s launching our Staq Transformation initiative. This is our largest one-time investment ever into our Staq product, including our Giving and ChMS products (previously known as Church Community Builder, or CCB). We’re responding to your feedback, the evolving needs of ministries, and ensuring that our digital solutions are helping your pursuit of your mission.

Holding ourselves accountable

For this initiative, we chose the word “transformation” with intention. All the changes we have lined up can’t be implemented overnight.

At the same time, I’m aware that just hinting at future updates isn’t enough. You’ve put your faith in us to deliver, and we want to be held accountable to the promises we’re making.

So we’re setting public deadlines. Dates we’re going to confidently stand behind to show our commitment to this transformation.

Here’s are preview of what are team has lined up in the coming months:

  • Groups optimization: Coming at the end of June, you’ll have a simplified experience with a refreshed look: 20% fewer clicks and everything you need to manage groups on one screen instead of two.
  • Process Queues: You’ll soon be able to get started with pre-configured Process Templates in minutes, not hours.
  • AI involvement summary: We want you to spend less time reviewing profiles, and more time doing ministry. What used to require a 5-minute deep dive will be scannable in a 45-second snapshot.
  • Single Staq Giving: Our team’s working to eliminate the friction between connecting your ChMS and Giving data, which will save huge amounts of admin time for your staff.

Our customers will receive regular updates on our progress over the coming months, accompanied by videos and training materials to help you make the most of the refreshed features.

We’re here for the long haul

Pushpay doesn’t want to be your technology partner for the next two years. We want to be your partner for the next twenty. We want to be the platform that continues to evolve to meet your needs and grows alongside your ministry.

I’m excited about what’s coming. There’s a swell of energy coursing through our team right now, because we’re confident this transformation will help you make a bigger impact in your community. That’s half because we’re not guessing at what you want and need. Like I said earlier, we’ve been listening, gathering data, and now we’re acting on those learnings with intention.

The other half of our excitement is because we genuinely can’t wait for these updates to play a small part in building your church’s future.
