How to run background checks with Protect My Ministry
Step 1: Start from a volunteer’s profile
In Pushpay’s ChMS, navigate to the volunteer or staff member’s page, click Actions > Order Background Check, and select the appropriate screening package for their role.
Step 2: Candidate completes authorization
The person automatically receives an invitation from Protect My Ministry to complete required consent forms and disclosures online—no paper forms for you to manage.
Step 3: Review results in Pushpay
Track the screening status (pending, in progress, complete) right in your Pushpay dashboard. Once finished, click to view the full report and make informed decisions about volunteer placement.
