New Year, New Product Launch

We’re kicking off the new year with an exciting new product for Catholic parishes and dioceses: ParishStaq!

ParishStaq is a suite of digital products that work together so that your parish staff and ministry leaders can work better together. It consolidates your church management system, online giving, and parish app to help you save on time, energy, and costs while nurturing discipleship and stewardship.

Serving Catholic Parishes and Dioceses

For ten years, Pushpay has helped over 14,000 churches bring people together by strengthening community, connection, and belonging through donor management, engagement, and giving technologies. Over time, Catholic dioceses and parishes, large and small, became aware of Pushpay and grew more interested in what we offered because of the impact our software has had on engagement and giving.

St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, a large active parish of 7,000 families in The Woodlands, Texas, was one of our first parish customers. Tracy Miesch, parish application administrator, describes their success:

“Before we started using Pushpay, it was easier to order a pizza on your phone than it was to give to our church. While our registered members grew, we saw a steady decline in average weekly giving per family over the last five years. We have now overcome that and feel confident that we are setting up Millennials to share their stewardship of treasure in the way they know how… on their phones.. The first month of giving on Pushpay saw an immediate increase in participation and dollar amount.”

The parish saw a 50% drop in credit card fees and a 69% increase in ACH giving. Their parish’s fiscal generosity allows them to sponsor an ongoing mission in Trujillo, Honduras, as well as feed 17,000 people annually through their food pantry and offer 100 ministries, including school and youth programs that evangelize 3,000 students a year.

St. Raymond of Penafort Catholic Church is a smaller but vibrant parish in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania that creates an experience where everyone feels welcome—in-person and online.

Since COVID, 2,000 to 3,000 people joined them for Sunday Mass online, all of whom wanted to engage more with the parish. They quickly realized that they needed to create a digital campus to connect with their new members who saw themselves as part of their community and wanted to contribute financially.

Fr. Christopher Walsh, pastor, looked to Pushpay for a solution.

“It was the people’s desire for more technological encounters … So we put our trust in what Pushpay had to offer, and we moved forward.”

(You’ll want to hear more of how a small parish like St. Raymond’s made the most of the resources they had and leveraged ParishStaq to increase connectivity and efficiency. Take a moment to watch the video here.)

The incredible work of both small parishes like St. Raymond’s and larger communities like St. Anthony inspired us to help more churches. So in the past year, Pushpay built a team of product and engineering experts with backgrounds in serving parishes and dioceses. Together, they’ve been focused completely on developing a software experience that meets your needs…

  • Engage parishioners with a custom parish app that connects them to your church through live streams, bulletins, podcasts, devotions, and more.
  • Collaborate more efficiently with staff and leaders with our LEAD App, a mobile church management system that allows them to view parishioner profiles and nurture people on their discipleship path. Features like volunteer and facilities management scheduling, organizing group activities and event check-ins, and digital religious education registration forms that accept payments will make administrative tasks feel like a breeze.
  • Grow stewardship and generosity with opportunities to serve and sign-up for ministries or outreach, give quickly and securely on your website and parish app with pre-configured giving links and branded QR code generator, and a donor portal that allows parishioners to edit giving schedules and view their donor statement. Your staff will be equipped to steward better with our robust reporting capabilities that provide insights into giving trends and uncover donors who have lapsed or at-risk.

We’ve also created an implementation and customer success team experienced in serving parishes who will understand your specific needs. We want to ensure that you’ll feel confident every step of the way with Pushpay.

The teams are excited to continue to work together to build ParishStaq with even more dynamic features to help you grow your church!

New Partnership

Last year was a full and exciting time for Pushpay, marked with growth in innovation, Catholic knowledge, and a new acquisition with Resi. Today, we’re excited to offer Catholic parishes online giving and traditional giving through our partnership with National Church Solutions (NCS)!

We know that how you spend your time, energy, and resources is important to you, so we pride ourselves in creating a software experience that consolidates all of your essential tools into one digital center.

NCS is an envelope printing service that pulls parishioner information from your church management system (ChMS) directly into the NCS envelope ordering portal. This partnership guarantees that you won’t have to search for an envelope solution on your own or one that doesn’t integrate with your ChMS.

We’ll offer several options for parishes to choose. You can choose either standard or customized envelopes with your logo, as well as special envelopes based on the specific needs of your parish. We’ll also offer three box set options and the ability to add a QR code to help encourage parishioners to consider online giving.

Together, We’re Dedicated To Serving The Needs of Catholic Parishes and Dioceses

The future of ParishStaq is bright with a strong team of product and engineering experts in the Catholic market, live streaming capabilities with Resi, more giving options with NCS envelope solutions, and more exciting features we can’t wait to unveil this year!
