When you use our Services, you’re trusting us with your information. We understand this is a big responsibility and work hard to protect your information and put you in control.
This notice applies to pushpay.com and any other websites we own or operate (collectively, our “Websites”) and all products and services we provide, including our online and mobile giving, payments, engagement services, products, and applications, and any other apps or services we offer (“Services”).
When we refer to your information, personal data or personal information: we mean identifiable information about you as defined under applicable law. If you can’t be identified (for example, when Personal Data has been aggregated and anonymized) then this notice doesn’t apply. When you visit our Websites or use our Services, we collect information about you.
Information you provide to us: When you visit or use some parts of our Websites or Services, we receive information from you, including when you register for an account, make a payment, or provide information to us through your use of the Services. We collect the following information from you:
- Your name and email address when you sign up for an account or take part in training and events;
- Your name, age, sex, marital status, religious affiliation or denomination, photographs, and any other information you upload when you create a profile.
- Your postings when you participate in community forums or join us on social media;
- Your contact information and a record of any correspondence when you contact us.
Failing to provide your information may mean you can’t use some parts of our Websites or Services.
Information we collect automatically: We collect information about you automatically when you visit our Websites or use our Services. This information is collected through cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies, as well as through your web browser or device. We collect:
- Details of your visits to our Websites and information generated in the course of the use of our Websites and Services (including the timing, frequency and pattern of service use) such as traffic data, location data, time zone, weblogs and other communication data, the resources that you access, and how you reached our site.
- Details regarding the device you use to access our Websites and Services, including, but not limited to, your web browser, IP address, operating system and browser type.
- Information about how you interact with our ads and newsletters, including whether you open or click links in any correspondence.
- Information about your precise geolocation, provided that you have enabled collection through your device settings. This location information is used to identify organizations in your proximity and to pinpoint the location of your transactions for security purposes. If you choose to disable any location-based services on your device and/or opt out of any location-based services through the mobile application’s Settings menu, you will not be able to utilize certain features of our services.
- Information that you make available to us on a social media platform (such as by clicking on a social media icon linked from our Websites or Services), including your account ID or username and other information included in your posts.
This information is useful for us as it helps us get a better understanding of how you’re using our Websites and Services so that we can continue to provide the best experience possible (e.g., by personalizing the content you see).

Your browser or device may include “Do Not Track” functionality. At this time, we do not alter our sites’ data collection and use practices in response to Do Not Track signals.

Security is a priority for us when it comes to your personal data. We may retain your personal data for a period of time consistent with the original purpose of collection, including to pursue our legitimate business interests, comply with our legal, tax or accounting requirements, resolve disputes and enforce applicable agreements.
It’s your personal data and you have certain rights relating to it. When it comes to marketing communications, you can ask us not to send you these at any time – just follow the unsubscribe instructions contained in the marketing communication, click on the “unsubscribe” or “opt-out” link in the marketing e-mails we send you, or send your request to email@example.com
You also have rights to:
- know what personal data we hold about you, and be able to check to make sure it’s correct and up to date;
- request a copy of your personal data, or ask us to restrict processing your personal data or delete it; and
- object to our continued processing of your personal data.
We respond to all requests we receive from individuals wishing to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

We will review and investigate your complaint, and try to get back to you within a reasonable time frame. You can also contact your local data protection authority. Our Website and Services are intended for a general audience and not directed to children under 16 years of age. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected information from anyone younger than the age of 16, we will delete that information. If you believe we have collected personal data from children, please contact us at the email address listed below.
CHOICES YOU HAVE
You can always opt not to disclose information. However, if you elect to do so, we will likely be limited in responding to your inquiry or providing services to you.
You can opt-out of receiving marketing messages from us by unsubscribing through the unsubscribe or opt-out link in an email, or by sending an email to email@example.com. We will comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note that if you opt-out of receiving marketing-related emails from us, we may still send you important administrative messages.
In addition to the rights above, depending on the circumstances you also have the right to:
- request portability of your personal data, or delete it; and
- if we have collected and process your personal data with your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal data conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

- For your protection, we only implement requests with respect to the personal data associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
- Please note that we need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting such access, change or deletion.

EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks
With respect to personal data concerning individuals in the EU and Switzerland, the following United States incorporated subsidiaries of the Pushpay Group (the “U.S. Subsidiaries”) comply with the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks as set forth by the US Department of Commerce. The U.S. Subsidiaries are Pushpay USA Inc., Pushpay Inc., Pushpay Processing Inc., Bluebridge Churches LLC and NPO Apps Inc.
U.S. Subsidiaries adhere to and will abide by the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, and Recourse, Enforcement, and Liability when processing such personal data.
U.S. Subsidiaries are responsible for the processing of personal data received under each Privacy Shield Framework and transferred to a third party acting as an agent on its behalf. U.S. Subsidiaries comply with the Privacy Shield Principles for all onward transfers of personal data from the EEA and Switzerland, including the onward transfer liability provisions unless proven not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage.
With respect to personal data received or transferred pursuant to the Privacy Shield Frameworks, U.S. Subsidiaries are subject to the regulatory enforcement powers of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. In certain situations, U.S. Subsidiaries may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

Legal Basis (For EEA And Swiss Users Only)

We have further committed to refer unresolved Privacy Shield complaints to JAMS, an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States. Residents of the State of California have the right to request information regarding third parties to whom companies have disclosed certain categories of their information during the preceding year for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes.
The California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) provides California residents with rights to receive certain disclosures regarding the collection, use, and sharing of “personal information,” as well as rights to access and control personal information. Right to Information Regarding the Categories of Personal Information Collected, Sold, and Disclosed
The following is a description of our data collection practices, including the personal information we collect, the sources of that information, the purposes for which we collect information, and whether we disclose that information to external parties. We may use any and all of the information for any of the purposes described in this Policy, unless limitations are listed. The categories we use to describe the information are those enumerated in the CCPA.
- Personal Identifiers:
- We collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and telephone number when you create an account, complete a transaction, or otherwise communicate with us. We collect your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter. If you choose to create an account, you will also be asked to create a username, and we will assign one or more unique identifiers to your profile.
- We collect your payment information when you complete a transaction.
- We collect your IP address automatically when you use our Websites and Services.
- We collect your Device ID automatically when you use our Websites and Services.
- Protected Classifications: We may collect your age, gender, and religion when you provide it when creating a profile. We do not collect information related to your race, ethnic origin, or sexual orientation.
- Commercial Information: When you engage in transactions with us, we create records of goods or services purchased or considered or donations made, as the case may be, as well as your donation, purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
- Personal Identifiers:
- Biometric Information: We do not collect information about your physiological, biological, and behavioral characteristics.
- Internet or Other Electronic Network Activity Information: We collect information about your browsing history, search history, information regarding your interaction with websites, and applications or advertisements automatically when you utilize our Websites or Services.
- Geolocation Data: As described above, we collect your IP address automatically when you use our Services. We may be able to determine your general location based on your IP address. If you allow your device to provide us with this information, we use it to make improvements to our products and services, and to provide recommendations and deliver relevant advertising.
- Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information: If you contact us via phone, we may record the call. We will notify you if a call is being recorded at the beginning of the call.
- Professional or employment-related information: We do not collect your professional or employment-related information.
- Education information: We do not collect any information about the institutions you have attended or the level of education you have attained.
- Inferences drawn to create a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer’s preferences or characteristics: We analyze your actual or likely preferences through a series of computer processes and add our observations to your internal profile. We use this information to gauge and develop our marketing activities, measure the appeal and effectiveness of our services, applications, and tools, and to provide you with targeted information, advertisements, and offers.
We may also collect information about you from the organizations, institutions and businesses you elect to associate with in your Pushpay account.
We may share any of the above-listed information with service providers, which are external parties that we engage for business purposes and are restricted from using personal information for any purpose that is not related to our engagement. The categories of service providers with whom we share information and the services they provide are described in this Policy.
We may also disclose information to other external parties who are not listed here when required by law or to protect our company or other persons, as described in this policy.
Right to Access Information
You have the right to request access to personal information collected about you and information regarding the source of that information, the purposes for which we collect it, and the third parties and service providers with whom we share it. To protect your personal information, we will verify your identity before we act on your request.

You have the right to request in certain circumstances that we delete any personal information that we have collected directly from you. To protect your personal information, we will verify your identity before we act on your request.
Right to Information Regarding Participation in Data Sharing for Financial Incentives
We run promotions from time to time and offer online resources whereby we incentivize you to share certain pieces of information with us. Participation in these incentives is voluntary and you may opt out of the data sharing at any time.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under the CCPA.
Right to Opt Out of Sale of Personal Information to Third Parties
You have the right to opt out of any sale of your personal information by Pushpay to third parties. Pushpay does not sell personal information, so we do not have an opt-out.
Special Information for Nevada Residents
